ANGUS McSIX Unveils "6666": A New Era with Vocalist Adam McSix

Power metal sensation ANGUS McSIX has set the metal world ablaze with their latest single "6666," released on January 7, 2025. This track marks a significant evolution in the band's lineup and sound, introducing Sam Nyman, known as Prince Adam McSix, as the new lead vocalist.

"6666" continues ANGUS McSIX's tradition of epic, fantastical power metal, building on the success of their debut album "ANGUS McSIX and the Sword of Power," which reached number 10 on the Official German Album Charts in 2023. The single serves as a prelude to their upcoming, yet-untitled album, slated for release in early 20264.

Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann, the band's guitarist and producer, once again helmed the production, mixing, and mastering of "6666" at his Greenman Studios7. Levermann also took on the role of director for the accompanying music video, further showcasing the band's creative vision.

The lineup change sees Thomas Winkler stepping back to focus on family, passing the torch to Sam Nyman of Manimal. This transition introduces a new character, Prince Adam McSix, into the band's ongoing narrative. Winkler explained, "It was a tough decision to go down this path, and even harder to find a suitable singer. But Seeb and I created such an amazing project with ANGUS McSIX that we didn't want to let it die".

ANGUS McSIX's evolving roster now features:

  • Prince Adam McSix (Sam Nyman) - vocals
  • Archdemon Seebulon (Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann) - guitar, vocals
  • Amazonqueen Thalestris (Thalia Bellazecca) - guitar
  • Ork Zero (Gerit Lamm) - drums

To support their new material, ANGUS McSIX has announced two major tours for 2025. The band will be the main support on Orden Ogan's "Tour of Fear" in January and February, followed by a headlining European tour with Wind Rose and Orden Ogan in October.
