Arion Unveils Empowering New Single 'Like The Phoenix I Will Rise', Announces European Tour
Finnish melodic metal band Arion has released their latest single "Like The Phoenix I Will Rise" on January 17, 2025, marking a significant milestone in their musical journey. The track is part of their highly anticipated fourth studio album "The Light That Burns The Sky," set to be released on February 28, 2025, via Reigning Phoenix Music.
"Like The Phoenix I Will Rise" takes listeners on an epic, fantastical journey with lyrics referencing fantasy franchises. Founding member Iivo Kaipainen describes the song as "one of my absolute favourites from the new album," showcasing Arion's signature blend of hard-rocking vocals, technical riffing, epic orchestrations, and a fiery guitar solo. The track explores themes of empowerment, fighting for one's passions, and making dreams a reality, characterized by an uplifting spirit that encourages listeners to reach for their aspirations.
The upcoming album "The Light That Burns The Sky" is a collaborative production, featuring songs written by Iivo Kaipainen, with production and mixing handled by Matias Kupiainen of STRATOVARIUS. The album also boasts contributions from renowned sound engineers Jacob Hansen and Dan Lancaster on the track "Wings Of Twilight".
In support of "The Light That Burns The Sky," Arion will embark on an extensive European tour starting next month. The tour includes performances alongside Finnish power metal titans STRATOVARIUS and SONATA ARCTICA, as well as a co-headlining stint with German heavy/power metal band BRAINSTORM, supported by Italy's STRANGER VISION. The tour will cover various Central European regions, offering fans multiple opportunities to experience Arion's electrifying live performances.
