Avatarium Unveils New Track "I See You Better in the Dark" from Upcoming Album

Swedish doom and hard rock band Avatarium has released their new track "I See You Better in the Dark" as part of their upcoming sixth full-length album, "Between You, God, the Devil and the Dead". The album is scheduled for release on January 24, 2025.

"I See You Better in the Dark" is part of Avatarium's continued evolution in the modern heavy music scene. While specific themes for the track are not detailed, the album as a whole is described as showcasing the band's epic fusion of doom-laden occult sound with dark, heavy, yet melancholic and poetic elements.

The production of "I See You Better in the Dark" and the entire album was handled by Marcus Jidell, who both produced and mixed the record. Svante Forsbäck took charge of the mastering process.

Avatarium, originally founded by Candlemass icon Leif Edling, has continued to produce critically acclaimed music even after Edling's departure due to health issues. The band, now fronted by vocalist Jennie-Ann Smith, has established itself as a unique act in the heavy music landscape. Their previous album, "Death, Where is Your Sting", released in 2022, was well-received by fans and music press alike.
