Axty Drops Latest New Music With Single "Dismay"

AXTY released their new single "Dismay" on December 13, 2024, as the first track from their upcoming fourth album. The band has been actively releasing new music, with several singles dropping throughout this year, including Flowers And Butterflies Lullaby" and "Six Feet Under," along with album "Hannya."

AXTY is a metalcore band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 2016 by vocalist Felipe Hervoso. Originally a solo project called Anxiety, Hervoso started the band to cope with his own struggles with anxiety and depression, aiming to raise awareness about mental health issues through music. The band's name is an abbreviation of Anxiety, reflecting its authentic purpose.

By 2021, AXTY had evolved into a full band with Felipi Grivol (guitar), Jonathas Peschiera (bass), and Gabriel Vacari (drums) joining Hervoso. Their sound blends metalcore with elements of djent, progressive metal, electronic music, and pop influences, while maintaining a foundation in modern metal. AXTY draws inspiration from contemporary metalcore bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Polaris, and I Prevail.

AXTY's debut album "Helpless," released in 2021, quickly gained over 1 million streams on Spotify, showcasing their growing influence in the metalcore scene.
