Black Coast Unveils Powerful New Single "MOTION"
English nu-metalcore band Black Coast released their introspective new single "MOTION" on November 27, 2024, marking their first new music since their self-titled EP from last year.
"MOTION" delves deep into personal struggles with vocalist Charlie Hewitt explaining that the track explores the constant pressure to keep moving forward and the difficulty of slowing down. The lyrics address the hidden nature of internal battles and the toll they take both mentally and physically.
Since their self-titled EP, Black Coast has been working to redefine their sound, breaking free from genre constraints. The band collaborated with Sam Bloor and Jonny Price in the studio to explore fresh ideas and stretch their style in new directions.
The band has announced several tour dates which will see them perform at a number of venues throughout the UK, and are scheduled to take part in 2025's Southampton's Takedown Festival and Nottingham's Mangata Festival.
