Bleeding Through Unleashes New Track "I Am Resistance" Featuring Andrew Neufeld From Comeback Kid
Bleeding Through has released their new track "I Am Resistance" on January 9, 2025. The song features guest vocals from Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid and is part of the band's highly anticipated ninth full-length album, "Nine," set to be released on February 14, 2025, via SharpTone Records.
Commenting on the new song, vocalist Brandan Schieppati explained, "I Am Resistance is a song about self reflection. It's the times in your life that you come close to rock bottom and lose yourself. This song is about the battle of self medication and self destructive behaviors that sometimes grip your throat in life. This is a pledge to what you love and what you are truly devoted to."
The upcoming album "Nine" marks Bleeding Through's return after their 2018 release "Love Will Kill All". Schieppati describes the new album as a culmination of their 25-year career, stating, "There's so much passion and aggression on this album. If you're a fan of us, you won't be let down. This is everything we've been working towards. This is the culmination of 25 years. This is Bleeding Through in its purest form."
"Nine" is set to feature 11 tracks, including collaborations with other notable artists in the metal scene, such as Doc Coyle of God Forbid and Brian Fair of Shadows Fall.
Throughout their career, Bleeding Through has released several influential albums, including "This Is Love, This Is Murderous" (2003), which Revolver magazine hailed as a "quintessential piece of 2000s metal". They've toured with notable acts such as Slayer, Bullet For My Valentine, Machine Head, and have appeared on both Ozzfest and Warped Tour.
The band's musical style has evolved over the years, incorporating more black metal elements and symphonic touches, particularly evident in albums like "Declaration" (2008). Their ability to blend aggressive metalcore with atmospheric keyboards and occasional clean vocals has been a defining characteristic of their sound.
