Bloodywood Releases Groundbreaking Collaboration "Bekhauf" with BABYMETAL
Indian metal sensation Bloodywood has unveiled their latest single "Bekhauf," featuring Japanese metal icons BABYMETAL, on December 6, 2024. This cross-cultural collaboration marks a significant milestone in the global metal scene, blending Bloodywood's signature fusion of Indian folk and heavy metal with BABYMETAL's unique kawaii metal style.
"Bekhauf," which means "fearless" in Hindi, showcases the band's ability to seamlessly integrate diverse musical elements. The track combines Bloodywood's aggressive rap and ethnic instrumentation with BABYMETAL's melodic vocals, creating a powerful sonic experience. Fans can expect lightning-fast riffs, ferocious breakdowns, and a mix of Hindi, English, and Japanese lyrics.
An animated music video accompanying the single will be released on December 6 at 11:00 PM Japan time, featuring characters representing both bands. This visual representation further emphasizes the collaborative nature of the project and adds an extra layer of creativity to the release.
Bloodywood commented on the collaboration, stating, "When the possibility of collaborating with BABYMETAL came up, I knew now was the time. Even though we were all fans of theirs, we were still surprised by the level of synergy they were able to achieve on this song"
As Bloodywood continues to push boundaries in the metal genre, they have also announced their "RETURN OF THE SINGH – JAPAN TOUR '25" for May 2025, which will cover Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. This tour, along with their extensive European and UK dates scheduled for early 2025.
