CABAL Releases "Redemption Denied" Ahead of Upcoming Album "Everything Rots"
Danish deathcore outfit CABAL has unleashed their latest single, "Redemption Denied", offering fans a glimpse into their forthcoming album "Everything Rots." Released on February 27, 2025, the track delivers the band's trademark intensity through crushing rhythms, razor-sharp guitar work, and powerful vocal performances.
"Redemption Denied" explores themes of addiction and escapism, with vocalist Andreas Bjulver commenting, "When existence feels hollow, escapism can seem all too tempting, a few fleeting moments away from a depressing reality can feel like the answer, but once you start chasing this feeling it only gets worse".
The new single is part of CABAL's fourth studio album, "Everything Rots", set to be released on March 21, 2025, via Nuclear Blast Records. The album promises to be their most focused and ferocious effort to date, expanding on their established sound while incorporating ear-piercing electronic elements and unsettling soundscapes.
CABAL, hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, has been making waves in the extreme metal scene since their formation. Their musical journey began with the release of their EP "Purge" in 2016, followed by their debut album "Mark of Rot" in 2018. The band's sound draws inspiration from a wide array of influences, including black metal, hardcore, death metal, and modern deathcore.
Throughout their career, CABAL has collaborated with prominent figures in the metal scene. Their previous albums have featured guest appearances from Matt Heafy of Trivium, Jamie Hails of Polaris, and Joe Bad of Fit For An Autopsy. This trend continues with "Everything Rots", which includes features from Jamie of Viscera, Aaron of Ten56, and Matthi of Nasty, among others.
CABAL's rise in the metal world has been marked by extensive touring and festival appearances. They have performed across Europe, North America, Japan, and Australia, and have been featured at renowned festivals such as Roskilde Festival, Copenhell, Summer Slaughter, and Brutal Assault.
As they prepare for the release of "Everything Rots", CABAL is also gearing up for a European tour supporting Caliban on their "Back From Hell Tour" in spring 2025. This tour will see them perform across multiple countries, including Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the UK.
