Colorblind Releases New Single "Car Crash" Ahead of Upcoming Debut Album
Colorblind, a Texas-based quartet, has unveiled their latest single "Car Crash" on February 21, 2025, showcasing the band's continued musical evolution. The release coincides with the start of their debut UK tour supporting Caskets, marking a significant milestone in their career.
Vocalist Travis Moseley describes "Car Crash" as a song about "that overwhelming moment when someone grabs your attention and you can't look away," highlighting the intense emotions and captivating nature of the track. This release follows their previous single "Needle Eye," which debuted in August 2024 as part of their new partnership with Tooth & Nail Records and Solid State Records.
Colorblind's musical journey began in 2017 when they released their debut EP, which has since amassed over 5 million streams. The band quickly gained recognition in the music scene, performing at notable festivals such as Vans Warped Tour, So What?! Music Festival, and Texas Independence Fest within their first year. Their sound is characterized by a unique blend of rock, pop, and hip-hop elements, featuring catchy vocal melodies and energetic live performances.
Colorblind is currently working on their debut full-length album, slated for release in 2025 through Tooth & Nail/Solid State. The band has expressed excitement about exploring new musical territories, with Moseley stating, "We've been wrestling with who we want to be sonically because we have a huge array of things we want to do". So far known for their explosive choruses and intricate dynamics, the upcoming album release sees the group enter their next chapter with a focus on sonic exploration.
