Cryptosis Unleashes New Single "Faceless Matter"

Dutch tech thrash metal band Cryptosis has unveiled their new single "Faceless Matter" on December 13, 2024, marking the first glimpse into their highly anticipated sophomore album "Celestial Death" which is set for release on March 7, 2025 via Century Media Records.

The new single introduces listeners to a darker, heavier, and more symphonic sound, setting the tone for the entire album, with the band describing the track as diving "into a future where individuality fades, and people become part of one collective mind, haunted by the loss of self."

"Celestial Death" promises to be a cinematic journey across its 11 tracks, delving deep into existential themes, exploring concepts of decay, hope, and the enigmas of existence. Cryptosis describes it as their "darkest vision yet" and "a soundtrack to the chaotic world we live in."

The album showcases Cryptosis' commitment to pushing boundaries in the tech thrash genre. It was recorded by Olaf Skoreng at Tom Meier and Studio Moon Music, mixed by Fredrik Folkare at Chrome Studios, and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Studios in Sweden.

The album's artwork, designed by renowned artist Eliran Kantor (known for his work with Kreator, Testament, and My Dying Bride), complements the music's thematic depth. Additionally, a music video for "Faceless Matter," produced by film production company F/53, has been released to accompany the single.

In support of "Celestial Death," Cryptosis will embark on a European tour with British thrashers Onslaught in 2025, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Onslaught's "Power From Hell."
