Delain Unleashes New Track "The Reaping" Ahead of Upcoming EP and Announces UK & Ireland Tour

Delain has released their new track "The Reaping" on November 5, 2024, ahead of their EP "Dance With The Devil," via Napalm Records. The song features the current lineup of Delain, including founder and keyboardist Martijn Westerholt, vocalist Diana Leah, guitarist Ronald Landa, bassist Ludovico Cioffi, and drummer Sander Zoer.

"The Reaping" tackles serious themes, expressing disillusionment with society's current trajectory and the metaphorical storms looming on the horizon. The track blends hooky electronic melodies with modern heaviness, incorporating heavy guitars and recognizable 80's synth elements that are characteristic of Delain's sound. It articulates feelings of foreboding and sorrow while maintaining the band's signature style.

This release is significant as it's part of Delain's second offering with their revitalized lineup following major personnel changes in 2021. The track continues to explore the band's synth-driven soundscapes while staying true to their established musical identity.

In support of their new music, Delain has announced a UK and Ireland tour beginning on November 15, 2024, in Glasgow. The tour includes seven headline dates with support from Stone Broken and Damian Wilson. Additionally, the band has plans for tours in the Netherlands in January and North America from January to March 2025, though specific venues for these regions have not been detailed.
