DOMINUM Unleashes "Don't Get Bitten By The Wrong Ones" As Part of New Album "The Dead Don't Die"
DOMINUM, the zombie metal sensation, has released track "Don't Get Bitten By The Wrong Ones" as part of their sophomore album, "The Dead Don't Die," on December 27, 2024, via Napalm Records. This release marks a significant milestone for the band, following the success of their debut album "Hey Living People" in 2023, which hit the top 20 of the Official German Album Charts.
"Don't Get Bitten By The Wrong Ones" is described as an irresistibly catchy track featuring DOMINUM's trademark eerie yet tongue-in-cheek lyrics. The song is accompanied by an official music video, released on the same day as the album. Frontman Dr. Dead delivers a commanding vocal performance, blending raw emotion with DOMINUM's signature apocalyptic soundscape.
"The Dead Don't Die" album contains ten original tracks and a cover of Scorpions' classic hit "Rock You Like A Hurricane." The album showcases DOMINUM's evolution, introducing heavier metal influences and contributing to an even more bombastic and darker sound than their debut. The album was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen, known for his work with bands like Volbeat, Arch Enemy, and Evergrey.
Throughout 2024, DOMINUM has been actively releasing singles from the album, including "We Are Forlorn," the album's opening track, which sets a sinister atmosphere with trenchant riffing and thundering drums.
DOMINUM, led by Felix Heldt aka Dr. Dead, consists of Patient Zero on bass, Victor Hilltop on drums, and Tommy Kemp on guitars. The band has been gaining significant traction in the metal scene, having played nearly sold-out tours supporting big names such as Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, Feuerschwanz, and Peyton Parrish in Europe, as well as performing at summer festivals like Graspop and Rock Harz.
