Eisbrecher Releases "Auf die Zunge (Featuring Schattenmann)" as Final Single Before "Kaltfront" Album

Eisbrecher, the German industrial metal powerhouse, has once again demonstrated their musical prowess with the release of their latest single, "Auf die Zunge (feat. Schattenmann)" on February 28, 2025. This collaboration with fellow hardcore band Schattenmann serves as the final teaser for Eisbrecher's highly anticipated ninth studio album, "Kaltfront," set to be released on March 14, 2025, via Metropolis Records.

The band, formed in 2003 by Alexander "Alex" Wesselsky (vocals) and Jochen "Noel Pix" Seibert (guitar, keys, programming), has been a prominent force in the German rock scene for over two decades. Eisbrecher's unique blend of industrial metal, electronic elements, and German lyrics has earned them a dedicated following and critical acclaim.

"Auf die Zunge" follows the release of two previous singles from "Kaltfront": "Everything Is Wunderbar" in November 2024 and the album's title track in late January 2025. The band also released a cover of Michael Holm's 1974 hit "Tränen Lügen Nicht" as a humorous teaser ahead of the new album campaign.

Eisbrecher's musical journey has been marked by consistent chart success and evolving sound. Their previous albums, including "Sturmfahrt" (2017) and "Liebe macht Monster" (2021), both reached the top of the German album charts. The band's style, often described as Neue Deutsche Härte (New German Hardness), combines hard rock riffs with electronic melodies and dark, introspective lyrics.

Throughout their career, Eisbrecher has been known for their powerful live performances and their ability to unite fans from both the Gothic and Metal scenes. The band has been a regular headliner at major festivals such as M'era Luna, Wave Gotik Treffen, and Summer Breeze.

As "Kaltfront" approaches its release, fans can expect Eisbrecher to continue their tradition of delivering "delicately brutal music without compromises". The album promises to showcase the band's signature sound while potentially exploring new musical territories, as they have done throughout their career.
