Enterprise Earth Unleashes Brutal New Track "I. THE DESCENT" from Upcoming EP "Descent Into Madness"
American deathcore powerhouse Enterprise Earth has dropped their latest sonic assault, "I. THE DESCENT," on January 16, 2025, as the lead single from their forthcoming EP "Descent Into Madness". Set for release on January 30, 2025, this six-track EP marks a swift and intense follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2024 album "Death: An Anthology".
"I. THE DESCENT" serves as a ferocious introduction to the EP, showcasing Enterprise Earth's signature blend of technical prowess and unrelenting aggression. Clocking in at an intense one minute and forty-four seconds, the track rips through a series of blistering riffs and punishing breakdowns, with vocalist Travis Worland's raw, impassioned delivery front and center.
The band describes "Descent Into Madness" as a conceptual journey, with "I. THE DESCENT" acting as an overture for the EP. Worland elaborates, "My vision began with a narration of the overarching concept to my bandmates, and it only felt right to start this journey the same way. 'The Descent' is a kind of overture for the EP and sets the scene for the following Hell to come".
Enterprise Earth, formed in 2014, has consistently pushed the boundaries of deathcore with each release. Their discography includes acclaimed albums such as "Patient 0" (2015), "Embodiment" (2017), "Luciferous" (2019), and "The Chosen" (2022). "Luciferous" notably earned a spot on Loudwire's 50 Best Metal Albums of 2019, solidifying the band's position in the extreme metal landscape.
Produced independently by the band, "Descent Into Madness" promises to be Enterprise Earth's most intense and cohesive work to date.
