Finnish Metal Icons Lordi Unveil "Syntax Terror" from Upcoming Album "Limited Deadition"

On December 12, 2024, Finnish hard rock and heavy metal legends Lordi released their electrifying new single "Syntax Terror," offering fans a taste of their highly anticipated 19th studio album, "Limited Deadition," set to drop on March 21, 2025, via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).

"Syntax Terror" showcases Lordi's signature blend of 80s-inspired rock and heavy metal, featuring spacy melodies, thunderous riffs, and catchy hooks. Frontman Mr. Lordi describes the track's creation: "I played around with those mono sounds, trying to come up with something with a very '80s-action-movie-opening-score feel. On the verses I was thinking of Judas Priest, on the chorus of Manowar and — as icing on the cake — Udo Dirkschneider-type of screams to belch out the title".

"Limited Deadition" promises to be a nostalgic celebration of retro 80s toys, infused with fresh energy and heavier riffs compared to their 2023 release, "Screem Writers Guild." The album was recorded at IluSound Studio and Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, produced by Mr. Lordi, mixed by Ilkka Herkman, and mastered by Pauli Saastamoinen.

To support the release, Lordi will embark on a global "Limited Deadition" tour, kicking off in Finland on March 21, 2025, and expanding internationally. The tour includes dates across Europe, with stops in Poland, the Netherlands, and the UK.
