Havok Unveils New Track "Death Is An Illusion" with Upcoming EP "New Eyes" and North American Tour
Havok has released their new track "Death Is An Illusion" on November 1, 2024, as part of their latest EP titled "New Eyes". The song, produced by the band's vocalist and guitarist David Sanchez, explores themes of energy conservation and eternal existence through scientific principles and memory.
"Death Is An Illusion" combines thrash metal with D-Beat hardcore, delving into the concept that death is an illusion and emphasizing the idea of eternal and indestructible energy. The music video for the track was directed by K. Hunter Lamar.
To promote the "New Eyes" EP, Havok is embarking on an extensive tour starting November 2 in Tampa, FL, and concluding on December 7 in Los Angeles, CA. The tour will cover numerous cities across the United States and Canada, including stops in Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Toronto, Brooklyn, and Vancouver. Supporting acts for the tour include Exodus, Candy, and Dead Heat.
This release marks Havok's first since 2020 and represents their first independent venture since their early days as a band. The new EP showcases the group's diverse approach and their ability to blend different styles within their music.
