House of Protection Releases "Afterlife," Lead Single From Upcoming EP "Outrun You All"
House of Protection, the dynamic duo consisting of Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta, has unveiled their powerful new single "Afterlife", the first glimpse of their anticipated second EP "Outrun You All". Released on February 18, 2025, the track masterfully combines intense electronic elements with thunderous riffs, showcasing the duo's signature high-energy sound.
The new single and EP were produced by Jordan Fish, formerly of Bring Me The Horizon, who has been a close collaborator with the band since their inception. This collaboration has helped shape the band's sound, pushing the boundaries of their musical experimentation.
The band, formed after Harrison and Improta's departure from Fever 333, has quickly made a name for themselves in the alternative music scene. Their unique blend of hardcore, electronica, and punk has garnered attention from fans and critics alike. "Afterlife" continues this trend, with the band describing it as a song that started with "just the guitar stab and the whip sound".
The upcoming EP "Outrun You All" is set to be released on May 23, 2025, via Red Bull Records. This follows their debut EP "Galore", which was released in 2024 and featured six tracks that established House of Protection as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
House of Protection's musical background is diverse and impressive. Harrison was previously a guitarist for the iconic post-hardcore band The Chariot, while Improta continues his work with the experimental rock group Night Verses. This wealth of experience in heavy music has informed their approach to House of Protection, where they aim to create a space for boundless creativity and a community fueled by chaos.
The band's live performances have also been gaining attention. They recently completed their debut Australian tour, opening for Bad Omens, and are set to perform at Download Festival later this year. Their shows are described as a blend of fearlessness and bliss, blurring the line between the crowd and the artists.
As House of Protection continues to evolve and push the boundaries of their sound, "Afterlife" and the upcoming "Outrun You All" EP represent an exciting new chapter for this innovative duo.
