IOTUNN Released Album 'Kinship' Featuring New Track 'Earth to Sky'
Danish/Faroese progressive metal band IOTUNN is set to release their new track "Earth to Sky" as part of their upcoming album "Kinship," scheduled for release on October 25, 2024. The album, including "Earth to Sky," was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios in Denmark.
While specific themes for "Earth to Sky" are not detailed, the album "Kinship" as a whole explores concepts of unity and disunity, light and dark, body and mind, nature and culture, good and evil, creation and destruction, and the human and inhuman. These overarching themes are likely to be reflected in the track.
IOTUNN, comprised of Jón Aldará (vocals), Jens Nicolai Gräs (guitar), Jesper Gräs (guitar), Eskil Rask (bass), and Bjørn Wind Andersen (drums), will be promoting "Kinship" with several live performances in the coming months. Their tour dates include:
