Linkin Park Unveils New Single "Casualty" with New Vocalist Emily Armstrong Ahead of Upcoming Album "From Zero"
Linkin Park's new track "Casualty", released on November 15, 2024, as part of their eighth studio album, "From Zero." The song, described as "scream-heavy," marks a significant moment in the band's career as it features their new singer Emily Armstrong, following the 2017 death of frontman Chester Bennington.
"Casualty" received its world premiere at Linkin Park's show on November 8, 2024, in Arlington, Texas, at Globe Life Field. The performance was part of a concert that included opening acts Helmet and Bad Omens, with Helmet's Page Hamilton joining Linkin Park onstage for a rendition of "All for Nothing."
Following the Arlington show, Linkin Park has three remaining concerts in 2024, starting with a performance in Bogota, Colombia. Their 2025 schedule includes appearances at Las Vegas' Sick New World festival in April and Ohio's Sonic Temple festival a few weeks later.
"From Zero" represents Linkin Park's first album since Bennington's passing and showcases the band's evolution with Armstrong as their new vocalist. The diamond-certified nü-metal/alternative rock band, active since the late 1990s, continues to push forward with this latest release, demonstrating their commitment to creating new music and performing for their fans.
