LYLVC Unveils New Single "XXX" Exploring Themes of Power and Seduction
On December 6, 2024, alternative rock band LYLVC (pronounced “lilac”) released their highly anticipated single "XXX," showcasing their dynamic blend of rock, hip-hop, and alternative influences. This track is part of their ongoing evolution as a band and continues to build on the momentum generated by their recent tours.
Dual-vocalists Alyse Zavala and Oscar Romero deliver an electrifying performance in "XXX," with Zavala describing the song as "soooo sexy." She elaborates, "I wanted to write the lyrics from the perspective of a woman who is so powerful that she feeds off of the sexual energy of all her followers. The sex is so good that it messes with their heads and they won’t realize it until it is way too late and they are too addicted to leave." The chorus is crafted as a chant, designed to engage listeners and create an immersive atmosphere during live performances.
Produced at Howard Benson’s West Valley Studios, with contributions from renowned producers Mike Plotnikoff and Joe Rickard—who have worked with notable artists such as Three Days Grace and Halestorm—"XXX" promises a polished sound that highlights LYLVC's unique style.
The release of "XXX" comes as LYLVC embarks on a tour with A Killer’s Confession and Gemini Syndrome, bringing their high-energy performances across various U.S. cities. Upcoming tour dates include:
