Machine Head Unveils New Track "These Scars Won't Define Us" Featuring All-Star Metal Collaboration

Machine Head will release new track "These Scars Won't Define Us" on November 15, 2024, at midnight. The song is a collaborative effort featuring vocals from In Flames, Lacuna Coil, and Unearth, described as a "WU TANG CLAN-level thrash collaboration." This unique partnership brings together four prominent metal bands, creating a significant addition to Machine Head's discography.

The track is part of Machine Head's upcoming album, scheduled for release in April 2025. It also serves as a promotional piece for the band's 2025 North American tour, which kicks off on April 5, 2025, at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA. The tour will cover major venues across the United States and Canada, including The Wiltern in Los Angeles, The Fillmore in Denver, and a performance at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas.

The supporting acts for the tour - In Flames, Lacuna Coil, and Unearth - are the same bands featured on "These Scars Won't Define Us." The tour itinerary includes stops along the West Coast, Southern states, East Coast, and several Canadian cities, with performances at notable venues such as The Van Buren and The Observatory North Park.

Machine Head, a San Francisco Bay Area metal band with decades of presence in the metal scene, has been actively touring in support of their latest album "Of Kingdom And Crown," released in August 2022. "These Scars Won't Define Us" follows their recent singles and collaborations, including "My Hands Are Empty" and "Civil Unrest," which also featured guest vocals from other metal artists.
