Mugshot, the San Jose-based metalcore band, has released their latest single "Vale of Tears" through Pure Noise Records on February 27, 2025. This release comes as part of their ongoing collaboration with Pure Noise Records, which began when the band signed with the label in 2024.

Mugshot, formed in 2014, has been making waves in the metalcore scene since their debut album "Dull Boy" in 2016. The band's current lineup consists of drummer Connor Haines, guitarist Michael Demko, and vocalist Ringo Waterman. Their sound has evolved over the years, with their 2021 EP "Empty Heaven" garnering significant attention among metal and hardcore fans.

The release of "Vale of Tears" follows their 2024 EP "Cold Will," which showcased the band's ability to address profound themes such as abuse, depression, and trauma through their music.
