No Life Unveils New Track "One Hitter" Featuring ten56.
New Zealand metalcore group No Life released "One Hitter" on December 6, 2024, featuring Aaron Matts and Luka Rozaka of French metal band ten56. The track showcases an aggressive, cut-throat sound, and was mixed and mastered by Buster Odeholm, known for his work with thrown, Humanity's Last Breath, and Vildjarta.
The collaboration came about after vocalist Connor Dickson met with ten56. during CVLTFEST, where they agreed to work together after sharing the instrumental track.
No Life is currently working on their debut album, with "One Hitter" described as "just the entree" to their upcoming material. The album is in pre-production and expected for release in 2025.
Earlier in 2024, No Life released "Obnoxious" featuring Emmure's vocalist Frankie Palmeri. The single garnered significant attention, accumulating over a quarter-million digital streams and earning recognition as one of Metal Hammer's tracks of the week. The song addressed themes of calling out "deadbeats" who take advantage of others.
Formed in 2021, No Life combines metalcore and nu-metal elements, creating a sound characterized by aggressive vocals, chaotic riffs, crushing breakdowns, and electronic elements. Their style draws comparisons to metal heavyweights like Alpha Wolf, Sworn In, and Graphic Nature.
The band has gained international recognition, leading to their signing with Obsolete Music. They've supported major acts including Silent Planet, While She Sleeps, AlphaWolf, To The Grave, and Make Them Suffer, while also headlining tours across Australia and New Zealand.
