Phantom Elite Unveils New Single "Sangre Mala"

Dutch alternative metal band Phantom Elite released their powerful new single "Sangre Mala" on November 29, 2024, through Frontiers Records.

"Sangre Mala" explores themes of toxic relationships and internal struggles, and features haunting vocals from Marina La Torraca, addressing poisonous love and emotional warfare with lines like "You slowly poison me / Like tainted love, you see."

The band has evolved significantly since their 2018 debut album "Wasteland" and 2021's "Titanium". Their sound combines symphonic and progressive metal elements, with Marina La Torraca's diverse vocal capabilities at the forefront. The band's approach focuses on modern elements, heavy riffs, and melodic hooks while balancing their varied musical backgrounds.

"Sangre Mala" represents the groups first release since their March 2023 album "Blue Blood."
