Perth-based alternative rock artist RinRin has released her latest single "Chainsaw Girl" on December 4, 2024, as part of her upcoming EP "The Nut House," set to drop on January 31, 2025. This release marks a significant milestone in RinRin's musical journey, showcasing her unique blend of pop-punk and metal influences.

"Chainsaw Girl," produced by Chris Lalic of Windwaker, continues RinRin's exploration of dystopian narratives and personal emotions1. The track delves into themes of revenge and resilience in a post-apocalyptic world, reflecting RinRin's real-life experiences through a fictional lens3. It joins previously released singles "FCKNRUN," "im sad lol," and "PRN" on the upcoming EP.

RinRin, whose real name is Qarin Hipe, has been making waves in the Australian metal scene since her debut in 2020. Her music draws inspiration from artists like BABYMETAL, Poppy, and Bring Me The Horizon, creating a distinctive sound that blends pop-punk energy with metal intensity.

To support the release of "The Nut House," RinRin will be joining Future Static on their Liminality national tour in January 2025, alongside The Last Martyr. This tour will give fans the opportunity to experience RinRin's high-energy live performances across various Australian cities.
