On December 13, 2024, Silent Planet, the California-based metalcore band, has made a significant impact with the debut of their new track "Mindframe." The song has been a highlight of their ongoing fall tour, which features supporting acts The Devil Wears Prada and SeeYouSpaceCowboy.
"Mindframe" has been enthusiastically received by fans during the band's live shows, showcasing Silent Planet's ability to blend heavy riffs with atmospheric elements. The track was first performed live in Detroit, with a fan-captured video of the performance gaining traction online.
Silent Planet's fall tour, which kicked off in November 2024, has seen the band perform across various cities in the United States. The tour schedule includes multiple dates in California, such as December 19 and 20 at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, and will extend into 2025 with European dates, including January 17, 2025, at Z-Bau in Nürnberg, Germany, and January 18, 2025, at Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne, Germany.
The music video, directed by Austin St. John and Walter Jones, visually complements the song's themes of introspection and personal struggle. Vocalist Garrett Russell explains that "Mindframe" is about navigating the complexities of the human mind and finding strength in vulnerability.
