Silent Theory Drops Remix of "Made Me This Way" With Jay Gordon of Orgy

Silent Theory has released a reimagined version of their song "Made Me This Way" featuring Jay Gordon of Orgy on February 21, 2025. This collaboration brings together Silent Theory's hard-hitting sound with Jay Gordon's industrial metal influence, drawing on his production and lead vocalist expertise for his band, Orgy.

The original version of "Made Me This Way" was released in 2024 as part of Silent Theory's album "Tell Us How It Ends," which came out on September 13, 2024, via ONErpm. The song quickly became a fan favorite and one of the band's most requested tracks during live performances.

Silent Theory, formed in 2010, consists of brothers Mitch, Scott, and George Swanger, along with Robert James and Dakota Elliot Tyler. The band has experienced significant growth since signing with ONErpm in 2021, seeing a substantial increase in streaming numbers, video views, and touring opportunities.

Silent Theory's collaboration with Jay Gordon on the remix of "Made Me This Way" demonstrates their willingness to experiment with their sound and work with established artists in the rock and metal scenes. This remix, produced by Chris Dawson and mixed by Jay Gordon, offers fans a fresh perspective on an already popular track.

The band's latest album, "Tell Us How It Ends," showcases their evolving sound and includes singles such as "Burn It All Down," "Afterthought," and "Emptiness In You". Dakota Elliot Tyler, the band's vocalist, describes "Made Me This Way" as a song about personal transformation in the face of constant adversity.

Their musical journey has been marked by several milestones. In 2016, their single "Fragile Minds" charted at #97 on Media Base Active-Rock and #29 on Under the Radar charts, accumulating over 26 million views on YouTube. Following this success, their 2018 single "Watch Me Burn" reached #67 on the Media Base Active-Rock charts.

As of 2024, Silent Theory has amassed impressive streaming numbers across various platforms, including over 122 million video views on YouTube, 5 million streams on Spotify, and 12 million streams on Pandora. These figures underscore the band's growing popularity and the resonance of their music with a wide audience.
