Sleep Theory Releases Static From Upcoming Debut Album Afterglow

Sleep Theory has unveiled their latest single "Static", a compelling new track from their forthcoming debut album 'Afterglow'. Released on February 5, 2025, the song represents a significant evolution in the band's musical journey while setting the stage for their most ambitious release to date.

The production of "Static" brings together an impressive roster of industry talent, with David Cowell at the helm and writing contributions from Cullen Moore, Paolo Vergara, Ben Pruitt, Daniel Pruitt, and Cowell himself. The track's refined sound is the result of masterful mixing by Zakk Cervini, supported by Julian Gargiulo, with final mastering by Ted Jensen. This collaborative effort has already proven successful, with the song reaching number 69 on the United States iTunes Top Songs chart.

As they prepare for the May 16, 2025 release of 'Afterglow', Sleep Theory continues to build upon their impressive track record. The band's PAPER HEARTS EP has accumulated over 182 million global streams, while their radio presence has solidified with two Top 10 singles and their breakthrough Top 5 hit "Fallout".

The band's commitment to connecting with fans has been evident through their recent promotional activities, including a captivating live performance of "Static" during their I-Rock 93.5 studio session. Their upcoming concert schedule features appearances at prestigious venues, including the Daytona International Speedway and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, where they'll showcase their energetic live performances.

What began as vocalist Cullen Moore's solo project in 2019 has evolved into a dynamic full band, featuring guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, and drummer Ben Pruitt. Their transformation culminated in 2023 with a complete lineup and a milestone signing to Epitaph Records. As Sleep Theory approaches the release of 'Afterglow', they stand ready to cement their position in the contemporary rock landscape.
