Spiritbox Unveils "Perfect Soul" and Announces Sophomore Album "Tsunami Sea"
Canadian progressive metal powerhouse Spiritbox has released their latest single "Perfect Soul" on November 18, 2024, alongside the announcement of their highly anticipated sophomore album "Tsunami Sea," set to drop on March 7, 2025, via Pale Chord Records in partnership with Rise Records.
"Perfect Soul" offers a glimpse into the album's evolving sound, balancing heavy riffs and grooves with ethereal atmospheres. The track is accompanied by a visually captivating music video directed by Dylan Hryciuk of Versa Films. Set in an abandoned oceanside hospital, the video features vocalist Courtney LaPlante as an angelic figure navigating the afterlife, surrounded by ghostly apparitions and a grotesque, barnacle-covered creature.
The upcoming album "Tsunami Sea", which includes "Perfect Soul", was produced by Dan Braunstein and Mike Stringer, mixed by Zakk Cervini, and mastered by Ted Jensen.
Spiritbox has announced an extensive tour schedule to support their new release:
- November 30, 2024: Sao Paulo, Brazil (with Bring Me The Horizon)
- December 14, 2024: Mexico City, Mexico (with Bring Me The Horizon)
- June 24, 2025: Milan, Italy (supporting Linkin Park)
- June 26, 2025: Arnhem, Netherlands (supporting Linkin Park)
- June 28, 2025: London, UK (supporting Linkin Park)
Additionally, the band will embark on a European headline tour in early 2025, with support from Periphery and Stray From The Path, including stops in London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, and other major cities.
Spiritbox has had a landmark year, earning their second GRAMMY nomination for Best Metal Performance for "Cellar Door".
