SpiritWorld Unleashes "Abilene Grime" from Upcoming Album "Helldorado"
Las Vegas-based metal outfit SpiritWorld has released their latest single "Abilene Grime," offering fans a preview of their upcoming third album "Helldorado," set to release on March 21, 2025, via Century Media Records. The new track showcases the band's unique blend of thrash metal, hardcore, and Western themes, further cementing their position in the metal scene.
"Abilene Grime" serves as the opening track for "Helldorado" and is accompanied by a cinematic music video directed by Todd Hailstone. The video, filmed in Las Vegas, features performances by Voki Kalfayan and Hazel Honeysuckle, bringing the song's themes to life with vivid imagery.
SpiritWorld founder and frontman Stu Folsom expressed his excitement about the new single, stating, "When I wrote the demo for 'Abilene Grime,' it felt like the album really found its identity and materialized out of the ether. It twangs, it bangs and it has a sick video, which we filmed in Las Vegas a few weeks ago."
"Helldorado" marks the third chapter in SpiritWorld's musical saga, following their debut "Pagan Rhythms" (2020) and the acclaimed "Deathwestern" (2022). The new album promises to showcase the band's evolution, featuring a diverse range of sounds from metallic hardcore blitzes to world-weary country-punk stomps.
