Take The Name Releases New Single "Let Me Be Me"
Alternative rock band Take The Name has unveiled their latest single "Let Me Be Me" on December 6, 2024. The track is part of their album "Reliving Trauma," released through Theoria Records.
While Let Me Be Me doesn't appear to have a music video released, we have linked Invincible, which is a release from last month.
"Let Me Be Me" showcases Take The Name's evolving sound, blending powerful instrumentals with emotive lyrics. The song was produced by Jacob Kulick, with lyrics written by Tyler Kern, Jacob Kulick, and April Rose Gabrielli. Additional writing credits go to Nick Metz, John Supsic, and Keith Gensure.
Take The Name, originally from Ohio, has been making waves in the melodic hardcore scene since their debut. Their 2013 EP "Against Such Things" was praised for its "sheer amount of passion" and ability to break trends in the genre. With "Let Me Be Me," the band appears to be continuing their tradition of creating emotionally charged music.
