Turmion Kätilöt Announces New Album 'Reset' with Lead Track 'Sinä 2.0' and Extensive Tour Dates
Turmion Kätilöt is set to release their new track "Sinä 2.0" as part of their upcoming album "Reset" on October 25, 2024, via Nuclear Blast Records. The song, along with the entire album, was produced by the band's keyboardist and producer, RunQ, in his newly established studio. The production showcases a blend of organic and electronic elements, resulting in a powerful sonic landscape.
"Sinä 2.0" is described as part of an album that serves as a "bastard child" of Turmion Kätilöt's previous records, introducing fresh musical and lyrical perspectives. The track continues the band's tradition of exploring intense musical and lyrical themes, featuring a combination of fierce screams and melodic vocals.
To promote the album "Reset," Turmion Kätilöt has announced several tour dates. The album release party is scheduled for October 25, 2024, at Logomo in Turku, Finland. Additional Finnish tour dates include performances in Kempele, Kauhajoki, Lohja, Lahti, and Helsinki throughout November 2024. The band will also be touring in various European countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.
Turmion Kätilöt, active since the early 2000s, is known for their distinctive blend of industrial metal and "disco metal." The band has achieved significant success in their career, including sold-out concerts, gold and platinum records, and Emma nominations. In 2022, they gained further recognition by opening for NIGHTWISH during their sold-out European arena tour.
