VUKOVI Drops New Track "SNO" Ahead of Album Release
Scottish alternative rock duo VUKOVI has unveiled their latest single "SNO" on December 11, 2024, as part of their highly anticipated fourth album "My God Has Got A Gun", scheduled for release on January 24, 2025, via SharpTone Records.
"SNO" is described as a raw, emotional journey that captures the fragility and power of confronting inner shadows. The track showcases VUKOVI's evolution, blending vulnerability with heavy guitar work to create what vocalist Janine Shilstone calls "the perfect soundtrack for an exorcism of trauma."
"My God Has Got A Gun" was produced by the legendary Machine at The Machine Shop Recording Studio in Austin, Texas. Machine, known for his work with artists like Lamb of God and Clutch, brought his expertise to VUKOVI's new material. The band spent several intense weeks in Texas, channeling the heat, dust, and raw energy of the landscape into their music.
The upcoming album promises to deliver a powerful blend of raw emotion and energetic soundscapes. It features 12 tracks, including a bonus track "Fire Kingdom" available only on the LP version. The album's artwork, a vivid and haunting creation, was painted by Shilstone.
In support of "My God Has Got A Gun," VUKOVI will embark on a UK headline tour in March 2025, featuring support acts Unpeople and Artio. This tour will give fans the opportunity to experience the new material live alongside established favorites.
