Warbringer Unleashes "A Better World" Single Ahead of 2025 Album "Wrath And Ruin"
California-based thrash metal titans Warbringer have released "A Better World," the lead single from their highly anticipated seventh studio album "Wrath And Ruin," set to debut on March 14, 2025, via Napalm Records. This track marks the band's triumphant return to the studio since their acclaimed 2020 album "Weapons Of Tomorrow".
"A Better World" showcases Warbringer's signature blend of melodic thrash metal with a contemporary edge. The track features a "melodic death-tinged riff penned by Adam Carroll, with arrangements by thrash maestro Carlos Cruz". Frontman John Kevill describes the song as giving "the feeling of being stuck on some accelerated loop that won't slow down".
"Wrath And Ruin" promises to deliver a unique blend of dark, introspective lyricism and soaring, cinematic soundscapes. The album features pristine production by Mark Lewis, famous for his work with Cannibal Corpse, Trivium, and The Black Dahlia Murder, mastering by Justin Shturtz (Testament, Sepultura, Machine Head), and album art by the legendary Andreas Marschall (Kreator, Obituary, In Flames).
The album will include eight new tracks, with a bonus CD featuring 15 live recordings from their "Ravaging Europe 2023" tour. This release marks Warbringer's first full-length album with Napalm Records, signaling a new chapter in the band's career.
To celebrate the album's release, Warbringer will embark on the "Infernal Bloodshed Over Europe 2025" tour with Decapitated, Cryptopsy, and Carnation. The tour kicks off on May 3, 2025, at London's Incineration Fest and concludes on June 7, 2025, in Lyon, France at Lions Metal Fest.
